I offer tutoring in all high school math classes, including applied, mixed, academic, AP, and IB courses. This includes grade 9 math, grade 10 math, grade 11 functions, grade 12 advanced functions, grade 12 data management, and grade 12 calculus.

As a highly qualified math tutor, I hold a degree in mathematics and physics with first-class standing, along with a bachelor of education degree. With an impressive track record and extensive tutoring experience since 2016, I have spent over 500 hours empowering dozens of students to reach their full potential. My expertise and dedication in personalized tutoring have consistently inspired academic success and built lasting confidence in mathematics for my students.

Each math tutoring session lasts 60 minutes, but longer or shorter sessions can be arranged based on the student's needs. 

After tutoring students in person for 5 years I had made the transition to online tutoring. I have found it more effective since students feel most comfortable working in the comfort of their own home, and still find sessions highly interactive and fun. Moreover, to reinforce learning, students are texted a PDF file encompassing all the covered content, readily accessible on their phones. This accessibility encourages active review and continuous learning, as students can easily revisit the material at their fingertips.

To achieve optimal progress and consistent academic growth, I recommend booking at least 2 tutoring sessions per week. This frequency allows us to address any challenges your child may encounter during their school week, ensuring they stay on track and confidently grasp concepts. By maintaining regular sessions, we create a supportive learning routine that maximizes their potential and ensures they remain ahead of the curve.

I am experienced in supporting students with ADD/ADHD, employing adaptive teaching strategies like breaking down concepts into manageable steps, using interactive activities, and implementing visual aids. I maintain a structured and supportive environment while ensuring open communication with parents to cater to your child's unique learning style and needs.

Our cancellation policy requires a 24-hour notice for rescheduling or canceling a tutoring session. However, I understand that unexpected circumstances may arise, and I strive to be flexible and understanding. If you need to cancel the night prior due to unforeseen events, I will do my best to accommodate and reschedule the session at a more convenient time for you. Open communication is key, and I am here to ensure a positive tutoring experience for you and your child.

Yes, I am a certified teacher. I completed my Bachelor of Education at Queens University, and I am certified by the Ontario College of Teachers.
